One of the greatest action movie franchises of the last few decades.

Although Robert Downey Jr.'s portrayal of Tony Stark has become unanimously lauded and iconic (rightly so), enough cannot be said about Chris Evan's depiction of Captain America. He manages to tread that fine line across believeable sincerity without ever falling into corniness, which would be all too easy from a man dressed in stars and stripes.

His appearance in Avengers Endgame is the greatest on screen look for the character, designed by the masterful Ryan Meinerding. I was so pleased to see the scales realised in love action in such a slick way. I had to draw it, even if those beautiful scales almost gave me carpal tunnel.

Avengers - The Original Six

This initially started out as just a study of Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark, I then decided to carry on with the portraits as and when I find the time. The idea is to at some point continue with these portraits until I have assembled the original six Avengers in full.
